DAVID CLIFFORD came to the TEXAS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP in San Angelo with one thing in mind..."shoot the best game I can!"....because you see the word "I" is a very important word in DAVID'S vocabulary....in fact, a very important letter to most shooting ranges around the country...as in ICLAYS! DAVID is the inventor & entrepreneur behind the software that is sweeping the country like a California wildfire!
DAVID'S squad trailed right behind us as we moved around the MAIN EVENT. He is a confident shooter. He shot the most beautiful BROWNING I have ever seen. More shooters silently stole glances at his highly engraved gun, and diamond studded ROLEX, than will admit. It was a powerful combination.
But hey...how many of us wear that " LUCKY" pair of socks. Maybe a shirt...maybe you eat a special breakfast? We all have our superstitions. DAVID had his childhood fantasies of King Arthur engraved on his gun, and strapped on a watch that represented he had "arrived" at his spot in life, by the age of 40.
Not wanting to break DAVID'S level of concentration, we agreed to do the interview for the radio AFTER
the State Championship. So when I received the call to come to his office, I guess I envisioned...well, an office. Nope...it was his beautiful home in an area of Houston/Katy, I did not even know existed. What a shock it is, to those of us who return to our home town, to find it's someone else's home town, and you're the new guy!
Anyway, Houston, Texas is a big, booming city, sprawling across Texas like a magic carpet, ever increasing in size and depth. For those of you who never lived in a big city, you may not appreciate what a big city has to offer, restaurants of every palate...endless theaters, museums, live shows and music....oh 
well, before I lose you, let's get back to David's house!
Here is a shot of David turning on the fountain in the garden....which overlooks the lake...which is across from the golf course, of course! Why is it all the computer guys live so well and radio guys sweat the rent?
Well, don't miss the show, because DAVID CLIFFORD is a guy with a story...and knows the path to success. As I was sitting on his couch, I personally found over a hundred dollars in loose change!
