HINT # 2---One of the most WESTERLY Civil War engagements between the North & South was fought here. The Confederates defended the peak against a larger detachment of Union Troops on this day--> April 1862. In this engagement 75 Confederates defended the Peak against 1,400 Union troops. This story is so interesting I will point you to the full story after a winner is found....clock is running shooters!
